Question Help XJ 96 Engine feels heavy

My XJ 96 feels heavy while driving.. like its towing something or just like engine needs too much throttle. I have replaced the fuel pump and a new fuel & air filter as well, but the problem exist, it could be injectors problem? or a leak of vacuum could cause these type of problems? Guys waiting for your Help and suggestions. Thxx.

1. How is your throttle response in park(no load)?
2. Did it start all at once or gradually?
3. Have you checked timing, plugs, wires, rotor, dist cap, or the quality of your fuel?

The throttle response in idol is good without any vibrations and engine sounds good.
Starter works perfect, even a half key cycle is enough to start it even tho if its cold.
Timing no idea how to check, plugs are new, wires are OK (as informed by mechanic), rotor and disk cap no idea whats that x_x

Is there too much slack in the throttle cable?

Dist(distributor cap) take it off and look for lines in it where fire may have been traveling.
If it starts that good and revs good with no load, its probably not timing or compression.
Just guessing...... gummed injectors (run cleaner through them)
weak fire (wires or cap)

edit; When I ask about when it started I was referring to your problem not your starter
