Default Help with RC 4.5" Accesories

I have a 99xj auto. Sorry I am new to the building thing, so I am not real sure what axles I have, but I think they are the chrysler ones. I want to put on a RC 4.5" kit with full leafs and would like to run 32's and need some advice. This is going to be a daily driver too, so does anyone anticipate any problems with this lift/tire size on stock gears and axles. I have a list of things I think I need, but would like any suggestions on what needs added, removed, ect. Here it is:

4.5" kit with full leafs (inclueds shocks and LCA)
Adjustable track bar
TC drop
Steering stabilizer

I am not sure if I need the CA drop brackets or not so could use some advice on that. Also, is a dropped pitman arm needed? What about sway bar disconnects. Should I upgrade to those....what about adjustable LCA? Should I replace the UCAs? Is the Rough Country track bar good or should I go with another brand? What size tire should I go with and what backspacing should I run? (RC website says 32x11.5 with 4.5" backspacing...sound right? Should those go on 15x8 wheels?)

Thanks guys...any help for this newb is appreciated.

I have the drop brackets. I got them because it looked like the lca would be in contact with the mount at full droop. My kit came with adjustable control arms. There are ways to build your own disconnects, but they came in my kit. I have had no problems with the trackbar, and the tc drop kit worked for me. However the way I understand it, the drop kit doesn't work for everybody. HTH

not that far off, but it will be. you will not need the drop pit man. the quick discos are a good idea for wheeling. but you could take the ones they give you for the lift and change them into quick discos with a farmer pin. i have the same lift you want. check out my pics in both xj's i have. i have 31" tires but you could get away with 32" tires. the gears wont be super fun on highway and all that, but you can manage. assuming you have an automatic, most people go up to 4.10's, but i run stock 3.55's on 31's and its fine. the speedo will be off and you can check with a gps. dont forget you need an alignment after you lift your jeep. you wont be able to really drive without the alignment without viscous wobbles!

Thanks a lot Jake. Why did you go with 31's vs the 32's? Will the 32's rub without trimming? What do you all recommend for bump stops?

I chose 31's for a couple reasons. My gears (which doesnt matter to much between the two). I had 31' on my last xj. The availability and choices in the 31" catergory.

best bumstops ive ran into was from rustys. the have extended bumstops for front and rear. its good to have then extended cuaz' the stop your axles from coming up and doing damage to the body with your tires.
rustysoffroad.com give them a looksy..
