Default Can I run my accessories(lights, amp, sub etc..) to my starter relay?

Hey guys I was wondering if I could run all or at least some of my accesories to my starter relay instead of my battery? There is way too much going to that positive terminal. Eventually i will add a powerblock but in the meantime I was wondering if this would be an issue. Ill post pics as soon as I go downstairs. Thanks in advance for your hepl!

I assume you mean the big terminal and not the small one. They make battery terminal power blocks. I have a couple. Go to your stereo shop for them. If you run them on the starter or the battery, it still gets the same power. I don't think those used a starter relay and even then you would be hard pressed to get it to work right if it did have one. Consolidate the wiring.

One of the best ways to start is to convert your positive and negative battery connections to marine terminals that connect to the posts. Then you have a large bolt to connect to and when you install a larger alt. (sounds like you need one) then you can connect all the larger wiring (required) from it to the battery and ground.

I'm running a marine cranking battery. I have normal posts for my battery cables and studs for my accessories. It's recommended to attach no more than four ring terminals to those battery studs.

Some OE's used them too. My 97 S-10 has one. Handy.

Very true I should have mentioned that. On mine I attached a fused/covered Anderson Power Pole Connection bar. I use for all the smaller connections <35 amps. On my second battery I have marine posts also and 2 ring terminals connected to 00 ga wire with a 75 amp APP connection for the winch and a split 00 ga one short run under the ft. bumper with a 50 amp APP connector and another run that goes to the back bumper same thing for my jumper cables connect to. They are a homemade set of jumpers 35' long and 00 ga again with APP connection.

My stuff may not look that great but they are stout. Anyone that not sure about what APP's are need to check them out for electrical connections that need to be plugged unplugged often.
