Help Please :)
Hello, I could use some real help here.
--I am first time Jeep buyer and I have narrowed my options down to three in my local area. Please give opinions on which would be a good fit for an amateur, reasonable price, and which one would be worth taking a deep look into.. Any help is appreciated in advance!!

The one in Tampa looks like a good deal. The price seems fair. OME lift is good quality and pricey. After a good inspection and some haggling youd end up with a nice XJ.

I suggest the 2000 and try $3500. It was modified 'smartly' and has an OME lift, Old Man Emu. This is one of the best quality lifts.
31" tires will be good for a daily driver.
No rust in Arkansas too.

143,000 miles is hardly just starting to get broke in (as long as basic maint has been done). My '91 is at @ 290,000 miles and still runs strong and it hasn't ever been rebuilt.

The 4.0 in these jeeps if taken care of 300k is easy to pull out of one.The 00-01 had a head that can crack if its ran overheating so check the coolant to see if it looks new or is muddy/rusty looking. But before you buy anything have a mechanic look it over first. It will cost you a little but can keep you from buying something with a lot of problems.Ask the owner if its ok if you take the jeep to a mechanic to look over if they say no walk away.

All look nice! Big thing, at least for me, is checking for rust! Make sure you look under it at the brake lines. A cheap fix, but a PITA.
If you're gonna off road it, buying one with the stuff already done can be a HUGE money saver, as long as it's what you would want done.

That 2nd one, it really annoys me when people post ads like that. I WONT TAKE 6000 DON'T ASK. Makes me want to email and ask if they'll take 5999.
Sorry to rant. My vote is the one with the OME kit, 31" tires.
