Default HelP! Looking For A Specific Ignition Cut-Off Device

A couple of years ago I read about an igniton cut-off device that mounts on or near the steering column and has a one of kind plug that has to be in place in order to start the vehicle. For the life of me I cannot recall the name of the company and was hoping someone on this forum may know of the company. Thanks.

Only thing I can think of with a "plug" is the standard battery cutoff racers use.

Thanks Defiance665 for your reply, but that is not it. To be more specific, the plug part of the device can attach to your key ring, as I recall it has several "male" pegs that flug into the "female" portion, permanently mounted on either the steering column or next to it.

you mean like a passkey system? Where the chip is in the key? I don't think I have heard of a separate device like you are describing
