HELP!!! cant afford gas to moab!
So I've been lookin for a way to tow my xj behind my wj to moab for labor day!
Uhaul wants $100 each way & I can't afford to drive it!
Anyone (in or near utah) that has a tow bar or car dolly to barrow or buy???
Or does anyone know of a cheap place for xj tow bars or dollys?
Any other sugestions would help greatly!!!

So I checked out walmart & they have 1 that is rated for 5,000 lbs for $110!
Will this work cause I think the xj's weigh around 7,000?, correct me if I'm wrong!
Also it looks like it mounts to the front bumper is that safe cause the bumper is so weak?

the safest idea would be a Tow dolly. Please do not use a tow bar for a long distance drive. the wj only weights like 800lbs more then an xj. your are asking for a serious scary situation anyway you chop it up. out of all the options, tow dolly would be the only way i would tow an xj with a wj. but personally i would never do it for long distance.
if you cant afford to do it right, then dont do it. dont put your life and others at risk.
