I never had any issues. Unless its obstructing your view its fine.

My guess is the cop was harassing the guys on street bikes with gopro's because who will film themselves taking an easy ride?

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and more people who send text messages and emails have long forgotten the art of capital letters.

For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of the following statement:

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse."

Is everybody clear on that?

How can anyone expect help from others if they cannot communicate effectively? I find I just skip the thread when I see sentences like the OP.

Please don't let that poor example of grammar and punctuation reflect on those of us here in the great state of Washington that can spell and punctuate correctly. I'm sorry to say but a few do slip through the cracks now and then. We try to keep them in the mountains but hey we all know S-H-I-T runs down hill and every once and while they get back close enough to get an internet signal.

Anyways I would suspect the OP is using a smart phone, seems to be the new wave these days. I prefer the old laptop, makes it so much easier.

When it comes to go pro's there are no laws in the books other than the basic view blockage issues, kinda the same old BS they'd try with radar detectors if mounted from the windshield back in the day. But even then you had to be stupid and doing something else that pissed the cops off. I don't use a go pro but my S4 has a mount that allows me to film when driving. Last fall I had a short clip of when a deer threaded it's way through traffic on our 2 lane river road. It was pretty wild and cool to show people. Still can't figure out how the deer made it but she did.

Heading to the river for some fishing...........

that's because crotch rocket riders do stupid chit all day long, even without a camera. throw a camera into the mix and it's a given they're doing stupid chit for their whole ride.

but no, you cannot get fined for having a camera mounted, unless you're distracted while operating vehicle.

up here, we have the hands free law. mostly due to cell phones while driving.

After reading the entire thread I think I finally understood that he was asking about a dash mounted camera???

I was waiting for a translator to explain this one, yeah I'm old but do send emails from my smart phone........un-encoded

I don't mean to offend the OP but please read what you send first before hitting the send button for us "Old Guy's".

So you've got to be high to read those run-on posts with no punctuation?
