Default fumoto valve ?

I'm a fan of the fumoto drain valve and I was considering putting one on my cherokee. Anybody have any comments pro or con on the matter ?

First I've heard of it, but looking at the video it doesn't look like a bad idea for the DIY people. I'm interested on more comments though.

Edit: For the price I doubt it will go over well.

Have you ever had a problem with a drain plug? I for one have never had any issues with a drain plug and see that as just a fancy gimmick. Im sure it works but its not that hard to turn a wrench. Each to his own.

its a nice little accessory, but ive never had an issue using a standard drain plug to warrant me wanting one of these.

but i see nothing wrong with them

Sorry to bring up an old post, but these do work well. It has been on my rig for nearly 5 years with absolutely no problems.

At one point I thought that it might have been causing a leak from the oil pan, but it turned out to be my rear main.

Just thought that y'all might want to know that these valves are awesome.

Nope, I'm actually a jet engine mechanic in the Marine Corps, I just change the oil every 3000, sometimes less, so it makes it a lot easier.

I'm putting one on next oil change, won't have to remove my skid plate every time that way.
