Got a fuel leak, wondering if this is the fuel filter.

If it is, how hard is it to replace?

Yep, thats the fuel filter.

And by the looks of that rubber line that was added it's not original..

Easy to replace. Release pressure at the Shrader valve on the fuel rail, unscrew the two hose clamps on each side (and pull the lines off), and remove the one bolt holding the retaining clip on.

Reinstall backwards.

Also, replace the rubber lines if they aren't in good shape

I always forget to release the pressure and get a face full of gas...

Oddly enough, I just drove somewhere and checked while it was running and it wasn't leaking anymore. Weird.
I'll be replacing it on Friday. Thanks for the help!

That's probably where its leaking from if its leaking from that area.

Keep an eye on it. Leaking fuel is not a good thing. Ever.

I've checked it every time I've driven it since and I hadn't leaked again until today on the way to work. On the way home it did not leak. What could cause it to leak intermittently?

I googled it and saw something where sometimes PO will install an 'oversized' fuel filter, could that be it I wonder? I just don't understand why it leaks intermittently. It seems to me like it leaks when cold and once it warms up all is fine.

Replace the fuel filter and the fuel lines down there and then take a look and see if it's still leaking. Probably will solve it. You'll probably spend $20-$30 total. Because like Gee said, leaking fuel is not a good thing and you need to find what's going on
