keeps your engine bay a little cleaner and keeps mud from killing the alt a little better. I've never once in wheeling hit the front where a skid would help. I'd spend my money on LCA skids/reinforcement and a good diff cover

I think so, can never be too safe, it will keep it cleaner like said earlier AND in the event you needed to run over some zombies.... the skid would definitely save you... IMO

That is your splash guard, thatll keep too much water from getting to your electic components when you go through the mud or any water. My buddy took his out on his Tj and he flooded up his computer.

they are useless around here... and most everywhere.
the thing they are best at is scooping, digging in and getting hung up when trying to reverse.
Removing the rubber shroud under the engine bay will help dissapate some heat... loose it... if we lived in the north east where it rains all the time and you deal with mud/salt/deep snow I'd keep it... but here in the desert... bye bye.
