So I am in the process of cleaning out rusty floors. Gonna cut out the passenger front floor side. How do I take out the front seat supports? Just drill out the plug welds??

Use a spot weld cutter but pretty much.

Are they glued in ?Yeah with the spot weld cutter you go slow and watch for it to cut the spot weld out fully and stop.

No they aren't glued in. I don't think. There is a hair of the seam seal on it though.

Seam sealer you can cut out with a knife or if its really old and dried up a simple screw driver can remove it.I did do some digging and not everyone removed their front seat supports when replacing the floor pans.I think it came down to how much rust was around them if they needed to come off or not.

How would they treat any areas inside of or I mean under the support if they did not take them off? I got my passenger one off last night.
