Already have 2 of those, one runs and drives, the other is on stands

I was half joking and half serious. I know how expensive something like that can get even if it started as a freebie.
On the other hand i fully agree with LS and tons. 100% yes. It's the perfect starting point for something beefy and fun
As it stands currently, I have 5 jeeps of my own, (2) 87 MJs. One is a truggy - exocaged and tons on sticky tires - it's the getting rowdy wheeling rig. The other as mentioned is LS swapped and on tons - this is a "pretty jeep" some overlanding but mostly cruising and potentially the sand dunes one of these days. Then a 73 J2000 also as mentioned LS and tons - ongoing project that's intended as an ultimate adventure type rig. Then a 98 XJ that's on TJ Rubicon d44s - this is intended as a light wheeling vehicles for the family, overlanding/camping trips nothing really serious. Lastly is an 86 XJ thats being 4.0 swapped/updated to 96 year everything. Just intended as a simple DD - no frills of lift or big tires.
If it's not already obvious - the last thing I need is another jeep project. I've clearly got plenty of things to do as-is not including this one BUT I think I've come to a solution! I will have access to a set of JK Rubicon d44s in spring/summer for cheap and with the potential that the shell has perhaps I will have myself another Rubicon XJ but linked front/rear and a very low slung rig to boot. Maybe this jeep will faze out the 98? I guess we'll just have to wait and see what next year or the year after holds.
