Why not its a softer ride but still gives you lift

Why would you raise your center of gravity and make the suspension softer?

More flex and better ride. Im only at 3" so not to worried about softness being an issue

I had 3 or 4 different spring/shock setups on my old jeep with a 3" lift. What drove the best? The stiffest springs and shocks. Trust.

I have a hard time believing my stiff rear has nothing to do with the added leaves...

The shocks can't be that stiff. They are old and worn if anything.

With Skyjacker coils, RE 3.5" leafs, and JK Rubi shocks, I could keep up with my friend's VW GTI going downhill. That stiff suspension meant that it handled well, and I like it, but "best ride" is a matter of preference. The softer springs are generally considered a better ride because they're smooth, and they will certainly flex better than the stiffest off-the-shelf pack.
