Wheres everyone got theres mounted

I want to mount a 5 pound in the cargo area and a 2 pound here....

I wouldn't mount one on the door panel, it's going to break the plastic very soon and you'll always get hung up on it while entering and exiting the vehicle.

I have mine mounted where the spare tire used to be, my spare doesn't fit there anymore

i have mine mounted on the floor between the drivers seat and rocker panel.

anyone have any idea if i can mount a 2 pound on the door i was thinking of adding a piece of steel behind for stability

Even with a steel reinforcement the flimsy plastic door panel will break and the panel will pop loose from the door every time you close it. We tried this on fleet vehicles with steel doors and they failed within a month.

I have a little smaller than a two pound mounted under the rear seat heal kick plate. Does affect passenger yet easy to access in a situation. Im sure you can fit larger than mine. Good luck

id rather keep it in the front i dont want to be reaching into the back seat in a emergency... i normally have the seat down anyways.... but i think i might look into the floor space on the left of the drivers seat
