I've had the lift components for about 6 months now and finally started putting them on my dd today
Got the 3 inch superlift springs, LCA's, and trailmaster shocks on the front today. (All spare parts from my other XJ's
) It all went really smooth and I had both sides done in a little over 2.5 hrs. Just figured I'd share a few pics
You know how it is
Before shot (the green one)

Couple with the front done....

I'm going to install the roof rack and change out the fog lights to some Hella 500's in the next day or two when I finish up the lift. Also picked up a rear tire carrier for it today at the JY for $50. The TC is busted and I'm waiting for the new one to come in so I'm trying to get my to do list done while it's down....

Wal-Mart
I sprayed it with Rustoleum bedliner first and then sanded most of the texture off leaving a nice hammered feel. Then I top coated with satin Krylon Outdoor Spaces moss green and rustoleum satin black for the rockers and rear quarters... Done it about a year ago and it's held up great! A little dusty now but washed up it looks like I just finished it. Get's lots of looks and compliments. People can't believe it's spray paint
I painted the sand and green 89 in the first pic the same way...

Off with the cheapo fog lights and on with the Hella's

I want to do something with these too...

Any ideas? I was thinking of doing the lenses orange like the side marker light and then taping off "jeep" in the center the same size as the header emblem and then painting them black... After painting I'd remove the tape and have just "Jeep" in orange left for my turn signals and parking lights... Or maybe do XJ on each one... Opinions?

WOO HOO!!! She's finished! Lift is on all the way around and the new TC is in
Just carried it on it's first test drive and all is good! Took her on a ten mile run up to 70mph with absolutly no vibes and she's even still pulling straight and true. Still going to get it aligned tomorrow to be sure everything is good though... Checked my measurments and it's sitting at 3.5 over stock all the way around. Did some minor flexing and I think she's going to do great
It was too dark to get good pics so they'll have to wait until tomorrow...
