Some Ford shafts from the junk yard even fit.

Or he could just install the kit, then measure the distance from center of u-joint to center of u-joint and order the correct RE shaft.

Since he said he was not very mechanical, I'm assuming that he would like some of the extra help from people over the phone.

In the end if he wants to order Rubicon Express, that's his choice. I only recommended Tom Woods because I have it.

Im not an expert on the matter so im not going to spit out incorrect information but...
If I remember correctly, the front driveshaft from a certain vehicle will work. Its not the strongest solution, but it works in a pinch. Somebody weigh in?

I've heard front Cherokee drive shafts can work when you do the hack n' tap, but that's hearsay.

I did a JB conversions SYE on my 93 with Aw4. the front driveshaft dropped in the rear. now I only have to carry one spare. it would fit even better if I was lower (at 4.5"). being able to do that is one of my favorite things about the jeep

I looked at a lot of SYE's and I liked this one the most. just read the descripton
