ive looked and looked... most of all of them where in bad shape, way over priced, and not willing to work with me on the price.... but im still searching on cl almost everyday... im looking for "the one" since im not in a hurry.

 

perfect thought process, dont be in a hurry. i got a decent deal because i waited, get what you want for the price you want, this is a recesion ya know, and people will be getting rid of things to pay the mortage...

are there any stipulations with purchasing that jeep? i heard a while back that if you buy a used public safety vehicle you have to paint it all one color? no stripes or black and white colors. maybe thats just maine? i heard it quite a few years ago tho.. by the way.. that thing looks gorgeous!!!

 

in cali it cant state any branch of state or goverment names, but it can be the color.

 

ill look into that... im sure they are just vinal decals tho... a heat gun will take care of it... then it will be silver which should be ok in every state

 

i found that they are stickers and have to be removed or covered before leaving the lot

 

Looks clean enough....remember how many times you have seen an police vehicle flaugged like a rented mule. I know in my area the fire people are the same way. Just a thing to think about. Other then that, it looks like the consul has been in a shotgun fight, probably from the cb and computer and siren stuff, would be my guess.

Don't be in a hurry like people are saying, it took me about 8 months of everyday searching to find my gem.

and it has a 8 track hahahah i dont have any 8 track but okay
so ya i was more lucky
