Yeah if you get a SYE kit you're going to want to grab a CV drive shaft for the rear.

What transfer case do you have? I have a Tom Woods SYE kit for my NP242 case, but they also make one for the NP231 case. Again, recommended.

Hate to hijack but I'm in the market as well.

Sir Mr. Serious sir, do you happen to have the measurements I'd need for an SYE/DS combo:

3.5" RE Superflex, NP231 T/C. I believe the lift actually nets you around 4-4.25" when its all said and done.

I'm happy to throw more money at you

Typically a 32.5" shaft.

Look on your transfer case and there will be a stamp.

The stamp will tell you if it is an NP242 or and NP231. Report back when you find out and we will be able to help you some more with this question.

Alternatively, you can also tell by looking at the shifter, like SeriousOffroad said. Look inside your Jeep at the four wheel drive shifter and tell us which of the below yours looks like:

In the picture above, the one on the left is NP231 and the one on the right is NP242.

Like what? A buddy told me about options for brake lines instead of the 100 ones online you can use a old model chevy 1500 1/2 2wd brake lines and they're like 14 at a auto parts store

Okay so you have the NP231 transfer case. After you have your lift put in, you'll have to take measurements to get the right size drive shaft. You can call up Tom Woods (1-877-497-4238) and they'll guide you through what you will need for the kit. They are free shipping and the drive shafts are good quality. I run a Tom Woods rear shaft in my Jeep:
