Falling for WJs

Soo i have a 99 jeep cherokee that i want to trade in for a 04 wj with 77k one owner all receipts from dodge dealer ship... Super clean 4.7 HO
they want to give me 4k for mine and they want 9.5k what do you guys think?

I never liked Grand Cherokees of any sort. But I prefer ZJs over WJs any day, and here's why (found this on Google):

jump on it. i love my xj but my parents have an 02 wj with the 4.7 and its a beast. plenty of room and its comfy. stock yes they look like a minivan but our stock xjs look like station wagons soo

I have an XJ and a WJ. The WJ is the 4.0, it's an 01 with 175k on it now. Ride comfort there is no comparison between them. The WJ is so much nicer, from seats to coils all around.
But if you plan to mod the WJ and make it a wheeler, you need to know that everything costs about 3x what a comparable XJ mod would be. And a lot of stuff is just simply not made for WJ's, so you have to build some of it yourself, or pay someone a ton of cash to get it made for you.
The price seems a bit high to me, but you are also getting about double what I would expect from my XJ at trade-in. In the end, paying $4.5k for that WJ sounds like a good deal to me, especially if you have proof that it was maintained well.
