Well, I was just playing around with the amp in my Jeep to get the sound working and noticed the temp tag reads an expiration date of 3/26, which was yesterday. I bought the vehicle the night before on 3/25. lol, wtf? That's not even 3 hours of valid temp tag usage. Anyone know dealers who give such little time? Now I'm wondering how the hell I'm going to make it to the DMV to get it registered and have plates issued without getting ticketed and having my vehicle impounded. lol.

 

my cousin bought a 2011 f-350 and has been running around for 3 months with expired temp tags, hasnt been stopped yet!

 

That's risky. Also, depending on the state, you can face anywhere from a simple citation to vehicle impounded and time in jail with a charge of driving an unregistered vehicle. I'm already on a 2-year legal suspension with 1 year to go. If I get a misdemeanor in our out of the WA (Washington) state corporation, I'm in deep trouble with my pre-existing contract. And I really don't feel like going back to jail and to face the admiral judge on commercial charges.

 

That's got to be a miss-print . I would call the dealer in morning and talk to them

 

Yeah, I just called. He was off by a month, lol. Said he meant to put Apr 26. *rolls eyes and smiles*

Heh, I had the temp registration on my XJ for two months before I got my actual registration (hello NY state delays, stupid ****ing state...)

The day they came in, I got the mail on the way to the bank. On my way there, there was a state trooper road block checking all the stickers. As I rolled up I just flashed them the envelope and told them that they had came in that day. Turns out I was lucky, because I had 2 days left on the temps. Close one!
