Dumb things you've done to your Jeep
I don't remember which threads, but several members who've torn or twisted drive shafts in half have found cardboard inside them. No one has been able to come up with a reason behind it, at least a "for sure" answer that I've seen.
Thanks for the compliment!
Several people had suggested white, silver, or grey stripes. I kinda felt that was overdone, and common, and I really wanted to keep some of the factory color. I'm not sure why, but I wanted to have some of the original truck showing. The pics don't do it justice, it looks probably 50 times better in person with the sun shining.
And the maroon is so subtle, you almost don't notice unless you are looking for it.
I also decided NOT to clear coat the truck, that way if I scratch that pretty paint I can grab the $2 rattle can and fix it fast.

i wasnt wheeling mine either! lol.
30mph hit a huge hidden river in the road that was 3feet deep 3 feet wide (it was raining and you could not see it as it was under water). real slow motion while in the air and ended up on its side. surprised i did not shatter the side windows. it was interesting to say the least. the motor was running just perfect while on the side to lol. I had to manually shut off the motor.
But it was not to bad just wierd trying to unbuckle the seat belts and climb out the passenger door as it was in the air

The reason I asked is because I'm no stranger to mud and off roading down mild trails, but I'm looking to start getting into higher difficulty things. I've never rolled a truck "on purpose."

Mounted a 10k winch to the front of my old XJ using a Rustys front tow bar, then half asleep, put the winch into the back of some guys Explorer at a red light.
Broke a rear U-Joint in Miami, and drove 130 miles home in 4 hi, FWD only. That was a bad wheeling trip.
When I was young and naive I concealed all the wiring for roof lights in an old drill bit box on the roof and electrical taped it shut.
I'm stupid & I can prove it!!

Crazy, sucks you didn't see it coming. When I rolled my first car I wasn't wearing a belt and got tossed around. I was really lucky. Just crushed my hand and got a concussion. The car was tottering on a tree, the tree was preventing the car from falling 30 feet down into a river. I don't remember what happened during the actual crash, I hit my head pretty early. A friend helped me out of the car, and walking to his car is the first thing I remember. It was crazy. One min I turn onto a gravel road, then next thing I remember I'm not in my car and its upside down.

come close tho lol stopped it from rolling with my foot
Ah, the profile pic!!
Nice to see in full size, and I like the side view. Were you in pretty good? Need help getting out? Looks fun, thats for sure!
Like I said, most my experience is light trails and thick mud, but I'd like to get in a lot deeper now that I'm able to have a 'toy' to play with.

Not to mention I'm still working on my floors. I'm about half done with it, though, but I need to do my psteering pump now.
I've said it once, I'll say it again. It never, ever, EVER ends. [sigh]

lets see, i thought it would be fun to drift it in about 9 in. of slush (dont worry there was a mound of logs to slow me down) so that destroy my rocker panels, then at silver lake sand dunes i bottomed out a tire and shreaded it to pieces, then at the same place, i wanted to go on a wensday when there wouldnt be as much traffic and got stuck on top of a hill for four hours cause i forgot a tow strap

Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?
