driving it at 80 mph when it would start to death wobble at 35mph.

 

I high centered it on a snowpile in front of work. I ended up hooking my winch up to a light pole about 40 feet away and dragging myself off. Winches are worth every penny

Something dumber? When I put my lift on, I put the shackles on the rear on backwards. It LOOKED right, and my experienced friend agreed it was right. Up on the rack, everything was fine. With weight on it, the shackle was butted against the back of the frame, so had NO available upward travel. It was very bouncy in the rear on the road, and sitting higher than it should. Both of these, I chalked up to new, stiff springs. When I went to flex it, I noticed it was not flexing in the rear at ALL. I probably put about 50 road miles on it in the end. When I finally got under it and saw what was going on, I flipped them, and all was well. Except for a pretty bad "S" in the springs. I eventually replaced them.

I don't think it matters for me, my shackles are straight up and down. I need shackle relocation brackets, but that's a project for next year.

 

in my ZJ during college wheeling alone trail I had never run on. 12 hours later and a few cut trees to get my friends ram in to pull my **** out.

XJ-wheeling it on blad 30s in the snow less the 24hours after i bought it on 3 hours of sleep

 

i still dont like looking at it but its finaly up and riding agian.

 

You can lead an XJ to water......

 

Okay.......taking notes here.

1. No getting stuck and ripping off front diff. (And sure as hell keep that guy with the pick-up away from my XJ) Shovel now thrown into the tool kit.

2. Check under floorboards before screwing into it.

3. XJ's make horrible submarines.

4. Doors keep the weather out.

5. Make sure shackles are correctly oriented

Don't worry, it won't be long and I'll have a story to add.

 

Lucky she didn't sink to China! That's some seriously quick drop off! Can't even see the front tire.

I know we all look up to the cherokee as a god, but no one ever said they can walk on water! Lol

 

I was riding in an area that I was unfamiliar with. the trail came down to the water and starting playing in the mud. next thing i know, i'm sitting in the water. lesson learned! its took alot to get it back in running order and will probaly never be back to normal! Note: its sat there for 24hrs in the water!

when i finally got it out and towed it home. about three days later i noticed this...

 

AND you can teach it to fish!

I was out playing paintball with my friends and I thought it would have been fun to shoot my jeep a few times (actually a hell of alot more than just a few shots). When I went to wash all of the paint off, I discovered that my jeep was now coverved with hundreds of dents from the paint *****. It looks like my jeep was in a hail storm.
Not a smart idea...
