dont mean to burst your bubble but i highly highly highly doubt it sounds any where close to a super snake or a 351, besides you still only have one exaught pipe going into the muffler a waste of 350 bucks in my world.

Thanx for posting. Granted this mod may not be for everyone. But is it a nice looking and sounding mod. I kinda like it for a daily driver customization. I live in NH and see one every now and again. Id take the dual exhaust over visors of any kind, But it all boils down to what you want to do with your xj.

Two tail pipes is all about looks and it looks great. You can get a good sound out of one tail pipe but you dont get that look. I like the two pipes but for wheelin its just another thing to get in the way. For a daily driver it is a great add on and I bet it gets a lot of attention. Right on! kinda old school but I love it.

Not exactly true there bud. Pretty sure as long as he still has a CAT and/or muffler(s) he wont lose backpressure. Only way that would be true is if its straight pipe. Otherwise he wont lose anymore backpressure than when you cut the exhaust after the cat.

well stated. i honestly like how quiet the restrictive stock is, but with intake upgrades coming soon i want to free up the outflow. borla xr1? anyone got any suggestions for good flowing quiet setups. obviously dont duals. has anyone done a stack, or sidepipe. i'm running a 56" sidepipe on my 76 dj5.

There is a header on eBay that is a split into 2 banks each pipe has 3 cylinders.

Still defeats the purpose. I'm not knocking it saying it's a stupid idea. I've even had thoughts of it myself, but I decided it's a waste of money. Might as well keep it in the savings.
