Default Dry link?

Brought my Cherokee to the garage to replace the my front axel joints and now they are saying I need to replace my dry link? Anyone know what that is? Checked google couldn't find anything.

Never heard of a dry link, they could just be calling something by a different name. Ask them to show you what they are referring to.

I think they're talking about the DRAG link in your steering linkage.

If you need a new drag link, I would have the other 3 tie rod ends replaced also. Only be another $50 in parts.

... unless he offered to top off the horn fluid and turn the rear brake rotors as well. Then he's probably scamming you.

Haha very funny guys. Make fun of the newbie.

All jokes a side, anyone know where I can get cheap and strong steering components like DRAG link, tie rod etc. Maybe like a whole bolt on set up?

www.rockauto.com is very good for price and quality, but you will not find anything that will simply bolt on ready to go, you have to put it all together.

Seconded. I would get the item's part #/name and google it though, certain things are pretty steep there. Great service, accurate info, prompt delivery though.
