thanks for the input yawl. definatley feeling better and more confident about the build. ill be sure and post new pics after the lift goes on hopefully next week. gotta try and find some affordable shocks to go with a 3 inch lift. found some on JC whitney for 140 out the door, if anyone has seen any better deals let me know

Do you think it looks stupid? It looks pretty functional to me, but your the one that has to live with it. it looks fine dude, and if it works for you it does'nt matter what others think.

 

I think it will look better when you Jeep is lifted/on bigger tires. Roof racks seem to look better when the jeep is proportionate to it. I like it though
