You can overheat about anything in the sand if you don't drive it correctly, or you can keep from overheating about anything if you drive it correctly. Follow the advise multiple people have stated and go have some fun!
On a side note, if you're not going to stop worrying, install a trans temp gauge (if you haven't already) with the sender installed in the line leaving the torque converter going up to the cooler(s). That will be the hottest point in the system and you'll know EXACTLY how hot you are or are not running.

Thanks for the links Im thinking about installing a b&m trans cooler inline with the stock trans cooler and a temp guage will be installed then as well just wasnt sure where to hook the guage up at again thanx manOriginally Posted by Northwoods Snowman

Ok so I'm about to go to silver lake sand dunes in Mich in a stock 99 225/75/15 wrangler silent armors and reading though all the sand dune treads it Seems to be 50/50 weather to put out in 4 hi or 4 lo
