Differences between ZJ and WJ?
Guys and Gals,
What are the main differences between the ZJ and WJ? I have a WJ, and everything is way more expensive (bumpers (not that there are a lot to pic from for a WJ anyway.))

there is a huge difference!!
interior and exterior got a total redesign.
it is still a 4 linked front and rear unibody grand cherokee but that is about it

WJ is bigger then a ZJ, the WJ have a false floor spare tire spot in the rear, and the ZJ has it upright in the rear cargo area like XJ's, those are the main differences besides a bigger more luxurious interior

what about if I were to buy a bumper made for a ZJ, could it be mounted to the WJ with minor modifications?

They don't both have 4 link rear? The zip has a 4 link rear with a panhard- wj has a triangulated 3 link setup, which sucks in stock form. Different engines, t-cases, 44a HD, dual piston front breaks, better steering setup, etc. Lots of differences depending on the various models

Nice to know another Eagle Scout, Mine was January 15, 2008.
If I were to cut off the bottom of the grille, thereby eliminating the dip in most offroad bumpers, making it flat. But at least are the mounting points similar or the same to make it work?
