So the xj has recently come down with a nice case of death wobble. when I hit a bump going 50 or faster my front end goes freaking nuts. I really need to get this fixed cause it's my DD for school and everything else. If anyone has any ideas your help would be greatly appreciated. Here's some info on the jeep to help. 3" RC aal kit, 28" goodyear wranglers and everything else is completely stock. D30 up front and the magnificent d35c in back lol. Everything was running fine the lifts been in for about 2 months now and the problems have recently shown up

Death wobble can be caused by MANY different things. In short, it's caused by some type of misaligned/worn/broken part in the steering and/or front suspension. First thing to do is to jack up the front end of your Jeep and have some slowly turn the wheel back and forth while you look for any looseness underneath. Places to look for loose/worn/broke parts:
-Front tires out of balance
-Front alignment out of spec (make sure it's aligned to your lift, not factory specs)
-Loose track bar
-Lower track bar bolt hole wallowed out
-Worn track bar bushings
-Worn track bar end(s)
-Need adjustable track bar (axle isn't centered)
-Bad bushings/joints in control arms
-Worn/damaged steering stabilizer (this is usually just a band-aid for the real cause)
-Worn/damaged shocks
-Worn/damaged tie rod end
-Bad axle U Joint
-Bad ball joint
-Cracked track bar frame mount
-Steering box looseness
-Need drop pitman arm
-Driveshaft(s) not balanced
-Bad front hub assembly
Lots of things to check, but if you go through it all properly, you can save yourself a ton of time and grief.
