My buddy's old Lifted '79 GMC Sierra had a rebel flag headliner too! The only difference is we made his headliner the redneck way... It was a rebel flag glued to a peice of cardboard

As for the 97+ XJs; they are available. I went and searched ebay for a set and the only thing that came up was this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...Q5fAccessories

You would have to have a Cherokee SE to get them because there is no tach, water temp, oil pressure, or ammeter.

If you have a base model, you're good to go! I'm going to keep looking for a set and if I find anything I'll be sure to let you know...

Update: http://www.pedal-2d-metal.com/ has a set. They're more expensive but they do have all the gauges. Problem is, they're glow gauges not "reverse glow gauges" like mine. So instead of your numbers only lighting up, it would be the entire cluster.
Lol good to know now that Ive swaped one in with a tach and everything on my 98, Ive got the base model and my cluster is out and that really makes me wonder if I should put it back in agian...Now im debating...lol thanks for the help, im glad you could find it because I couldnt, The only ones I could find were all for 96 and prior.

Yeah mine was a base model when I got it, now with all the junkyard upgrades, it's turned into a laredo/sport. I had the stupid "giant fuel gauge" cluster and swapped it for a cluster with all the gauges. I'll never switch back... If you're willing to do it, go for it! I just can't live without monitoring my engine temp, oil pressure, and tach!
Oh, and no problem about helping you find some overlays! If you need anything else just let me know

Man I hate my hand crank windows! lol I'll never be able to roll down all 4 windows without breaking a sweat!!! I wish I had power locks too because manual locks are a B**** with a 4 door. I might be getting the actuators and window motors off another jeep from the junk yard to do a conversion. Only because it's convienent and the junkyard I go to is cheaper than dirt!

As for replacing LEDs, I actually ordered a set of 10 superbright White LEDs that will fit the interior bulbs in my Jeep. I'm replacing the light in the shifter gear indicator and the light in the 4wd indicator. It'll be white instead of yellow at night. I'm also doing the glovebox light, the ashtray light, the climate control light, and anything else I can find that's the same size!

I do hate the manual locks...those are a royal pain for four-doors...but the crank windows are just one less thing to break to me. My first xj had the all to common electrical problem for the electric windows so they would only work from the drivers door. Dont want to go through that nightmare agian of checking all the wires/connectors and everything. Im thinking about doing the same with mine except change all the lights to blue or red. Havent decided yet on that yet either haha

I really wish I had gotten a 2 door because it would really suit my needs better not to mention they're awesome! The only problem is finding one on craigslist that isnt a rustbucket. Since I'll wire all the switches and motors for the windows myself, I'll probably be safe from the electrical issues. I'm surpised my 92 Laredo hasn't ran into any problems yet *Knock on wood. I'd say go with the blue when it comes to lights, blue looks a lot cooler at night. I tried red LEDs for my XJ when I first got it and I really didn't like it that much

Alright then its settled, I'll run the blue led's and I had a chance to get a 97 2-door with every option that youd want (up-country pakage, CD, Vent rear windows ect.) But the engine had as much power as a honda civic and was tired, was 90% rust free though. Really shouldve bought it. Ever since then I havent found a 2-door in good condition or newer then a 96. But back on topic whered you get your led's?

Man I would have gotten it and built a 4.6L stroker for it! I NEVER see
84-96 XJs in my area anymore which is sad. The Auto-halocaust AKA Cash for Clunkers killed off most of the ones that once roamed the streets near me. I've seen a couple 97+ 2 doors but they were beat up pretty bad. My dad had a gunmetal 98 XJ sport 2 door back in the day. I wish he would have bought it when the lease was up.

haha now to the INTERIOR topic.
I got my LEDs from Ebay. they were only like $2 so I just went and bought them!

You can try SuperbrightLEDs.com or Vleds.com aswell
They're both a little overpriced in my opinion though.
