I found a 96 Cherokee Sport locally. It is a champagne color. It's a 4.0 4x4. 123k on the clock, and the guy claims it has no issues. He said the paint was bad on it, but it had no rust, and it needed a parking light on one side. We have a body shop for the paint, so that's no biggie. Guy is asking $1,900 for it. Sounds a bit too good to be true. I'll run a carfax before I do something crazy, though.

Always try to get him down more but sounds like a good deal.
I paid 1300 (he was asking 1800) for my 95 with. Only issue it had was some trail rash and a bad muffler.

I'll definitely go check it out and drive it. I was also offered a fully built ZJ with a new motor an trans as a trade for my 01' outback. It's honestly tempting since it's a 4.0. Hard sell to the wife, though. She only speaks odometer when it comes to cars...
