Default Cubby Storage Bag

I’ve seen several older posts where folks have made or fabricated a storage box over the cubby hole, but I didn’t see this in any of the searches and thought I’d share. I ended up getting the gray one.

The older reviews indicated problems with the velcro as the mounting option, but I guess the maker listened and changed it. Jennie uses metal grommets and includes about 5 screws to mount it.

Its pretty cool, and very well made. Not massive, or too bulky. Could be a good first aid pouch, tool bag, etc.

just thought I’d share. The guys company or barand is omega mill, has a few different colors and sells through eBay and Amazon.

Same one. Love it. (i had the velcro one, and the velcro never did stick to the vehicle panel very well). I'll come up with a permanent solution sometime, but was trying to avoid drilling holes.

yea in the newer versions he put about 5 metal grommets in the back piece of fabric, and included the screws to secure it. I’m impressed with the quality

may be worth asking the guy through eBay, he responds pretty quickly.

I keep tools, parts, and recovery gear in separate bins in the back. But the cubby bag I use for sun screen, bug sprays, grime boss wipes, and other items like that so that when I get a chance to throw the boys in the Jeep on a moments notice to go fishing/exploring, we always have the basics on hand and I don't have to worry about forgetting something that could ruin the adventure.

Looking for ways to use that space and came across this post. I like the idea of this bag and it looks good. I'm not clear on how it mounts with screws though. Is it "permanently" attached or easily removed? I'd like to use it for a first aid kit than I can just grab and go.

I tried using industrial-grade sticky velcro to hold my first aid kit but it sticks to everything except Jeep plastic.

i used screws to hold a small bungee cord across the opening. It holds the bag in nicely and allows me to easily remove it

Not sure how well this would hold up for this but 3M Velcro has worked well for me in the past on stuff. But I also use the 3M Adhesive Promoters. Going to be a little pricey cause I am thinking you will need 2 of those strips.
