Default Cowl/Windshield Light Mounting

I want to put lights on the bottom of my windshield right behind the mirror. Are there any brackets out there that dont require drilling into the body? I dont want rust to where I drill into the body. Also, if you have any links to good brackets post them, cause I have only found a few. Thanks

If you don't want rust where you drill, paint over the bare metal. Problem solved.

By behind the mirrors do you mean from the driver's point of view? Technically speaking, in front of the mirrors?

This is how I do mine. On my 95 and 2000

I'm pretty sure Detours offroad makes brackets for the pillars if that's your thing.

A little paint and rtv and it wont rust, After I get my 7" Hid offroad lights on my bumper I plan on getting the detours brackets and 4" HID longrange's for the pillars

I copied detours piller mounts and sealed them with rtv, they will never rust. I like the look, but if I was going to do it again i would just put them on the bumper. They shine alot of light on the hood would be easy to damage off road.

There was a guy selling ones he built on here that go between the mirror mount and the door. Don't know if he is still selling or not.
