I see you are in the galena area, I'm right in Dubuque and I'm selling my Cherokee. Let me know over pm. That Cherokee is also very clean, could be a great deal.

Told the dealer I needed a better deal than offered and they came back with $3700. Not sure I can find many cleaner at that price this time of year?

This will be my third (white) Jeep. I was hoping for some color this time, but hey..

The moulding on the drivers side door picture, looks like it does not belong there.

Made the 180 mile round trip and brought home the '97. I was elated that my '95 ZJ made it there with only 3 death wobble white knucklers. I won't miss "it". The '97 XJ is pretty darn nice for being nearly 17 years old. Build date of 12/96. There is some very light rust on the driver's side rocker, but not rotted. The other rust is on the rear passenger side door. Something I can fix on a weekend at this point. The rest of the Jeep is clean as a whistle. The interior virtually perfect. Need to get used to manual windows and doors, but when it gets 20 below zero here I won't miss sluggish to non-working actuators.

One thing I didn't check was the washer pump and they don't work. Either both are rotten or something else is up. I'll pull the shroud this weekend and look. It rides great & straight. 90 miles home with no indication of mechanical or suspension issues. Motor is strong at 106k as it should be. My first XJ gave us 6 years, 2 teens learning to drive and dent it so I expect the same or more out of this one!

Ended up paying $3538

Hoses seem OK. There is absolutely no sound when trying the front or rear washers.

Thought it was the same fuse as the wipers? They work fine.
