Here's mine smoked using the same nightshade

 

Im partial to clear. I hate giving the police a reason to pull me over.

 

I found it in a junkyard. I got it there for $20. It was chrome originally, I painted it to match the XJ, it's not functional at all as it just bolts to the bumper, it's just for looks.

 

That looks better than smoked IMO.

Also, don't get the ricer looking "Euro" clear lenses. Make sure they are the stock replacement style, that the reflector looks just like stock except it's clear (like the ones above).

try nightshade spray paint, you can start light then go as heavy as you want.
