Id be real leery of either a flat bad or a 1 ton unibody vehicle...just doesnt sound feasible in any dimension...

He was referring to the gas 6.0 Chevrolet engine...

Unless you know of a way to bolt a 4L80E to a Ford motor.

why run a lq and not a 12v, more power and easy to work on.
not a fan of any newer chevy trans

Good luck fitting a 6bt into a xj without blowing the firewall into the backseat. The 6.0 is a damn good motor.

On the legal side a xj couldn't tow enough to need a set of dually wheels.I mean the gvw is like 6k and the old school 1ton duallies 10k was the lightest they was rated up to 15k depending the truck.
