Well we all know the cancer named RUST. Since it can be cured on early detection, Maybe we all could state our trouble spots to give notice to others. I have an 98 XJ with 244,348 miles. so far "noticed" is "frame" intergrannular rust adjacent to the right rear fender. Also a 2000 WJ with 194,379 miles with rusted rt rear door, lower aft section.

Entire vehicle.
jk, but seriously.
My 90 doesnt even have rockers anymore, and had to weld part of the floor back together. But it spent a hard life in Kansas before retiring down here with all the other snow birds.

Rockers, bottom seam of doors, fenders front and rear, the pinch seam weld area in the rear fender well. Interior of the fender wells and inside of the rear quarter panels (97, 98, and 99 to my knowledge came with sealed packs of foam stuffed in there for sound proofing I'm guessing, they soak water up and just rust the hell out of it in there) Remove your rear trim pieces, check it out, good idea to remove those damn things if they're soaking wet. Helps to have a flashlight to see the extent of whatever rust may be there.

Had it not been for someone opening a window while it sat for a couple years, it would still be almost completely rust free.
The bumper mounts have suffered terribly, but nothing they were bolted to seemed to be infected.
The floorboards take a beating largely due to the sound batting I think. Holds moisture to the metal. But it does have the plus side of allowing you to talk inside the vehicle without screaming
