Comanche
I am Planning on buying a 88 Comanche , rwd, 4speed. Runs and drives good. In good overall condition. Question if decided to make it 4wd? Since it it was built Off of the Cherokee uniformed will parts from a Cherokee driveline bolt right up? Thanks

The only difference was the placement of the proportioning valve for the brakes. It was over the rear differential and connected to it via a rod. If you lift it, be sure to get the drop bracket or an extended rod for the brakes to function properly. Good luck.

OP, as everyone has said, the drivetrains are essentially the same except for the rear driveshaft being longer if I'm not mistaken. Everything else bolts right in.

basically what everyone said, 4x4 convo is bolt in and is everything from the trans to the axles (only the front if you find matching gear ratios). Did mine over 3 weekends while still driving it to work during the week.
