Default Clunking under the feet

My wife just got back from the grocery store and said she can feel a clunk under her feet when she accelerates from a stop or in a sharp turn. I just took it around the block and I felt it also. It's 10 deg outside and snow on the driveway so I just don't have the ambition to crawl under it today, anybody know what that might be or what I need to do to fix it? You can really feel and hear it.

Thanks guys!

Mike

Check your exhaust system, if any of the hangers have broken the pipe will hit on the cross member.

sounds like a u joint, but check your mounts too

My suggestion is to do a full check! I check my veichles once a month, full look over, make a list and as I get money fix it. Including shaking down the wheels and pulling the wheels to check the brakes. That way things dont sneek up on me.

mine's doing the exact same thing. The exhaust hanger on the down pipe is broke. Had me confused for a minute because I couldn't find anything else loose... lol

Thanks guys, I'll go through the list you provided when it warms up a little and I have a dry spot to crawl under it.
