Hey folks, been awhile. I was looking through ads on CL and found this one.

Aside from the asking price and the radiator hose, anything pop out at as a red flag? I emailed him a few minutes ago, but no response so far. I am considering going to check it out, but live in Chandler and minus his response wanted to get your thoughts on it. Hard to find anything in decent shape around here below $1500, let alone something with a low mileage motor, that runs and drives. I know, hard to tell from 2 pictures, but figured it was worth a shot. Thanks as always.

That's what i'm thinking. Hopefully at that price it will still be there tomorrow. The asking price is kind of nagging at me, but never know til you look.

Its my luck also,Have one or two i liked and said ill call tomorrow and tomorrow its sold or add is gone.

 

Here's my thoughts on CL finds:

If you see something and it's a good deal, it will be gone by the time you post a thread like this.

 

Yup, happened to me a few times. On the other hand, there's always another good deal around the corner.

 

This is true 99% of the time, he who hesitates is lost or looses!


I watched my 2004 WJ on CL for almost 2 1/2 months 5 yrs. ago before I called on it, I was the 3rd caller and first who wanted to see it. He brought it over to my house that same night from another town. It was perfect and loaded got it for a good price paid him in cash he signed the title and I took him home.

 

Unfortunately it was about an hour away from me and 830 pm when I saw the ad. I think it was already too late by the time I saw. There have been some nice deals lately, but all in phoenix, none close by.

The other was 2 days prior to this one. An 85 2 dr that only needed an ignition module and minor things for $1050. Texted him as soon as I saw it and never got an answer. Ad was gone a few hours later. It was back on CL the next day for $1800

 

From what i have learned look early in the morning 6am to 10am and call as soon as you can and maybe go look at it today if you can.
