My 88' doesn't have airbags obviously but talks about it on the sun visor? It also has the np242 4x4 instructions on it as well so I'm pretty sure it's the original

Closest thing to airbags in my '91 is when my wife is *****in' about how small the inside of the XJ is and how bad it rides...lol. She REALLY hates riding in my '76 Power Wagon.
