Default Cherokees for tall and fat people

I'm 6'4" and weigh 350 lbs. And I really want a Cherokee to pull behind my RV. I sat in a Cherokee the other day at used car dealer and there was no headroom, and very little belly room. Is there a mod to make it more roomy? If not, can you recommend some other kind of Jeep that I perhaps could fit in?

Some have cut out a section of seat brackets and welded them back together, lowering the seat and giving more headroom.
The other option is 'big boy brackets' that move the seat back three inches. Here is a link to that product. http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Interior-Par...pn=MSCJBBXJ250

ZJ's are more roomy inside. Give one of those a shot, I used to have one and loved it.

I'm 6'5" and almost 350lbs, I fit nicely in my ZJ. More head room, more leg room, more hip room than an XJ.

Same here 6'4" 350 I fit ok in my stock XJ with seat leaned back, but I have real comfort and all the extras in my 04 WJ Overland that I pull behind my motorhome when we travel. Its as comfortable as my 2013 Lincoln Town Car and has even more options and its loaded.

We do pull the XJ behind the motorhome on a trailer when we go for a week or so of off roading and stay makes it very handy and the WJ with a 4.7HO pulls the XJ also for day trips to trails.

There's a company called big boy brackets that makes a bracket the mounts the seat it self further back on the slider thus giving you more room.

Something else both grands will ride better because they have coil springs in the rear while the xj has leaf springs. As a driver i rather have a grand but a off roader i rather have a xj.
