chime!!

these talking heads in our government want any working citizen to NEVER be financially free by any means.. they want to keep the poor trusting in THEM, uncle sugar take care of you.. this clunker garbage is just another link to the socialist controlled behavior, hyping people (who may not have a job tomorrow) to go out and buy a car they otherwise would not be able to come up with down payment.. falsely stimulating another wise crappy situation involving ALL automobile manufacturers, ford was folding up first but had enough business sense at the top to pull their heads out, GM the leader in all manufacturing had their hands in to many baskets, and refused to eliminate some of their products.. causing their demise..

Obama point blank, is a stereotypical modern day version of HITLER.. Remember Germany voted that masochist in also.......

This clunker garbage is killing the automobile industry, try going to an auto auction now.. theres nothing there, they're all being crushed... wheres the sense in ruining perfectly good automobiles, but that's control. Others like some of us here could sure use some of these cars and I for one would easily be willing to pay what they traded them in for...

I'll stop before I get started.... (seeing red)

they ARE making them to your quality standard.. perhaps you've just had good luck with a foreign car and now feel that they're better.. well you couldn't be more WRONG... I have a nissan truck with 108k miles that just majorly needed a timing chain.. the cost for a dohc chain replacement... $1300..(did it myself for $125)this shoulda never happened for the life of the motor...my wife has an '06 that needs the front end rebuilt.. futher more foreign cars cost more to work on, cost more to buy.. People like you in the states need to ride the bus, or be under it.. SUPPORT AMERICA !!!!

Btw, chevy silverado voted most dependable and economical several years running, also buick has bullet proof cars nowadays, just to name a couple..

O.k. this person needs to be shot! Who trades in a 'Vette (looked like it was in good condition) as a clunker? But, then again, not all car owners are smart owners.

All that said - I agree, oddly. Overall the ONLY thing we are going to end up doing is having pile after pile after pile of vehicles that once worked that are literally scrap! And job after job that some point ends and people are out of work, that won't be able to find work. Personally, I think there is a MUCH better answer that could be come up with than destroying in minutes what took AMERICANS days to build!!!! The sick part is, there isn't anything the voice of the people of this country can do or are willing to do - because you have to have MONEY and/or be a POLITICIAN!!! They stopped caring about that kind of stuff decades ago - when Wal Mart and Target shut down the mom and pops places. When you have lots of money you don't have to deal with the issues of a vehicle that NEEDS some TLC. When you're a politician you get to use every loop hole to benefeit you the way you want. Before you go saying I'm unAmerican, remember that you are speaking to an Army Veteran ^_^
