Hi guys need some help on the setting 2x4, i have a very clean running V6 , but find that in 2x4 setting it is very dangerous to drive when you put foot on accelerator. In 4x4 you can pull away no problem. Twice i have nearly lost control with back wheel power transfer seems to much..not comfortable using .

 

Are you in Europe? I think you have a Liberty as we call it in the States. we could likely still help you though.

Sounds like our Liberty. So, how and where are you having traction issues?

 

When pulling away or turning from junction, wants to drift always , whether wet or dry surface, as if too much power to back wheels

 

How old are your tires? Is the road wet?

 

Yeah, you need better tires (er, tyres). That will help. Or, you could just put it in 4wd if the roads are slippery and you're not making sharp turns.
