Hey guys, thanks in advance for the help, it's much appreciated.
I'll start off by saying i have a 03 grand with the np242 t-case.
Yesterday when i was driving on the beach in 4 HI full-time, my front wheels stopped spinning, so i let the RPMs come down and put it in 4 Hi part-time. This got me going again for a few feet then the front wheels stopped spinning again. Now very frustrated i put it in neutral and threw it in 4 LO, shifted back into drive and started accelerating, made it a foot and heard a banging, grinding, and my car jumped, then the right front wheel locked up and the left front wheel kept spinning slowly.
2HI works fine as far as I can tell too.

You wanna know whats wrong? Take out the front driveline (from the transfer case to the front axle). That will help you to diagnose if its the front axle or tcase

The drive line has 4 8mm bolts on each end to attach it from the axle to the tcase
This is a picture of the rear axle, but the yoke (sticking up in the air) is where it attaches.
& runs up to the tcase front output left side of this pic
Go look at your truck!
