I just got home and on the computer taking a closer look at your mount. Its a good design but I think you should make another one out of some thicker material. The stud mount doesn't look like its on all the way at the bottom and the first drive-through you go through the antenna will hang up and bend that mount. My antenna bracket is mads of 3/16" mild steel. So just be careful and make sure you don't hit anything with that antenna.

It does have alittle flex to it. I don't have anything to cut that thick of steel. I'm gonna hopefully get something that can soon

can you double up the material you have until you get something thicker? Or somehow put a gusset on the one you have??

The red triangles are an example of a gusset.

Basically a support between right angles.

Oh gotcha, I think I'll just keep the antenna off till I can get a thicker metal, how thick of a gauge should I go? I used 16 I think so maybe a 12?
