ok, I've often wondered how folks come up with names for their jeeps? so my question is.

" how did your jeep get its name? "

and has anyone seen that show "my strange obsession with the guy that gets intimate with his car? Thats just crazy.. I told my wife im going to go rub my jeeps transfercase and she said she would burn it to the ground .. NO IM NOT INTIMATE WITH MY JEEP! BUT I LOVE IT

the jeep I currently own is my 3rd xj
it is a 1993
and I am the 3rd owner
so I named it Lucky.
Lucky #3 (knock on wood)

Mine had three names. Got them from Jeep/Chrysler. They were.. Jeep, XJ, Cherokee.. Or some combo of those three.

 

I named mine "Jay". Thought I'd simplify the word "Jeep" by using the first letter "J" and spelling it out.

 

Mine is the "Cheap Turkey"....also know as just "The Turkey", and "the Turk". It started out as Cheap Turkey (Jeep Cherokee) because thats how my little boy could pronounce it! haha

I named mine Camel Tow.

 

my xj is named ***** because i treat her like one. my j10 is named hellride because thats what all my friends describe it as when i haul *** in it.

I named my girl ol'dixie. it should be obvious why...

 

Previous owner named it Pete the Jeep so i felt like i had to honor its name and keep it.
