Default Cb antenna mount ideas

Need some help. I've been looking into getting a permanent CB since my handheld just isn't what I thought I wanted. I need 2 things from you guys. 1) Is a magnet mount useful on trails or does it constantly get ripped off? And 2) if doing a more permanent mount, where can I find a mount that screws in just above the taillight on the side of the body? Don't really like the fender mount but opinions on that would be great too. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a Wilson magnet mount on my roof, it works fine. I rarely knock it off, it doesn't come off easy

I make antenna mounts that look like this:

Looks good right? If you want one, let me know and I can pound one out for you for a few bucks.

did the mirror mount bolted to my front fender.. swr is a bit high because of how close it is to the cab tho. I plan on getting some fender armor tho, so I'll move it to the front corner then.

I had a magnetic for a long time. It worked great, rarely fell off, but I never quite liked it just because it was a magnetic. I don't know.

Anyway, I finally did this:

Just the mirror mount bolted to the side of the Jeep. I needed to use two springs (oddly, a 3' antenna with two springs was okay but a 4' antenna wasn't...?), but I got good numbers finally.

Ooh, I also had to bend the mount slightly, from 90 degrees to maybe 85 degrees, otherwise the antenna was at an angle.

I think two 3' antennas on the a-pillars would look awesome
