I've still been searching and have not found much.

I have caught bits and pieces, but I'm still looking for some good info on turning a HF tubing bender into a mandrel bender.

Anyone have anything?

I just talked to a guy who used a HF tube bender to build a cage in a Ford Escort.

According to him he just bumped down the die size to the next size smaller and it worked fine. No filling any tube with sand, no modifying dies...nothing.

Interesting...
