Burning rubber smell / oil leak

Burning rubber smell / oil leak
Just pick up a 96 XJ Country and driving around town I started smelling a burring rubber smell after driving for about 10 minutes. Had small amount of white smoke coming from underneath. Pulled over and notice a very small amount of oil dripping off the passenger side control arm, right below the oil filter. The guy I got it from (XJ Guy) said he replaced the rear main seal not to long ago. Any leads on what I may be getting into?
