Default Bumper or Tires?

Im Kind of split between whether i want to get a new bumper or new MT's,
Bumper Pros````````````````Cons
Recovery Points`````````````I have two tow hooks already
Armor``````````````````````Need to learn how to put on a new bumper
Looks Better

Tires Pros``````````````````Cons
Mud Terrain`````````````````I have 33 bfg all terrains
33's```````````````````````Way more expensive
NEW

Basically i found dirtboundoffroad.com has layaway and that will make things easier for me as im a senior in high school and i dont have a full time job. That being said i will have $300 spending money this friday so its not like i dont earn anything.

Pics of the bumper and tires (Goodyear Duratracs)

The Duratrac is an AT it is not a MT

I would spend the money on Rocker Armor and towhooks before a Bumper I can tell you my Sliders get way more use then my Bumper

I'd probably go with the tires before the bumper. If your current tires aren't doing to any good.

Function before aesthetics. There are other cheaper ways to create recovery points for the time being.

I just had to make the same decision. I went with tires because mine were bald. If you already have tow hooks, there is no good argument for the bumper unless you really need a winch. Unless your current tires are bald, the duratracs are not going to be that big of an improvement unless they are larger. They are an a/t just like the bfgs. How much tread is on the current tires? If I had 300 to throw at mine I would go with sliders from JCR.

My other choice for tires were the bfg km2's but I didn't want to pay $250 a tire for 33x12.5 when I can get 33x10.5 for $215, but I like wider tires

My tires currently are not bald probably 50-60% left (more on front than back)

I already have plans to weld in 2x4 or 2x5 steel but I'm currently waiting for a current shop to finally answer again

Also, never pay full price for a set of tires. Everything is negotiable. Talked the price for my new firestone destination M/Ts from $912 to $790. Don't be afraid to beat the salesman up. Not literally, of course.

I was never talked down on price for sales by people I didn't know but I did hook up friends and wheeling buddies But that's why I always had the Highest margin and commission. At the tire shops I worked at
